Return, Cancellation & Warranty Policy

Effective Date: August 1, 2026

This Return, Cancellation & Warranty Policy (“Policy”) explains how returns, exchanges, cancellations, and warranty claims are handled for purchases made from Concord Tires (SAAAZ, Inc.), whether reserved through concordtireshop.com (the “Site”) or purchased in-store at 2900 Willow Pass Road, Concord, CA 94519. This Policy is part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.

Please bring your receipt or order confirmation for any return, exchange, or warranty request. Because tires are a safety item, most of the limits below exist to make sure a tire that’s been on a vehicle — where we can no longer verify it wasn’t driven on, damaged, or exposed to road hazards — isn’t resold to another customer.

1. New Tires (In-Stock / In-House)

New tires that have not been mounted or installed may be returned within 30 days of purchase, in original, unused, resalable condition, subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Once a tire has been mounted and/or installed, it is considered final sale and is not eligible for return, refund, or exchange, regardless of mileage or time since installation — except as required by law or under an applicable manufacturer defect or warranty claim (see Section 6).

2. Distributor Special-Order Tires

Some tires are not in our physical inventory and are instead special-ordered through our distributor network for pickup or installation. These follow the same 30-day, unmounted, 15% restocking fee policy as Section 1 above, with one difference:

  • Standard distributor orders — filled from our local distribution center — return free of any additional shipping charge, same as an in-house tire.
  • Out-of-area special orders — on the occasions a tire has to be sourced from a distribution center outside our local area, you’re responsible for the return shipping cost in addition to the standard 15% restocking fee. We’ll let you know at the time of sale if your order falls into this category.
  • Cancel any time before your order is ready for pickup, at no charge. Delivery timing from our distributor is an estimate, not a guarantee — if it’s delayed, you’re welcome to cancel for a full refund any time before it arrives.
  • Inspect special-order tires at pickup. If a tire arrives visibly damaged, defective, or doesn’t match what you ordered, let us know before it’s mounted — we’ll replace it or process a return at no cost to you, regardless of where it shipped from.

3. Used Tires

All used tires are sold AS-IS and are final sale. Used tires carry no warranty of any kind, express or implied, and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange under any circumstances.

4. Wheels & Rims

Wheel and rim orders require full payment in advance. Once your order has shipped from the manufacturer or distributor, it is not eligible for a refund based on preference or buyer’s remorse.

If you need to cancel or return a wheel or rim order after it has shipped but before it’s installed, we can attempt a return on your behalf, but you are responsible for both inbound and return shipping costs, plus any restocking fee the manufacturer or distributor imposes. Prior written approval from Concord Tires is required before any wheel or rim return will be accepted, and manufacturers rarely accept these returns without charges — approval and refund amount are never guaranteed.

You may cancel a wheel or rim order at no charge any time before it ships from the manufacturer or distributor.

5. Order Cancellations (Before Pickup, Installation, or Service)

If you reserved a tire or service through the Site and haven’t yet come in, you may cancel at no charge any time before it’s confirmed and fulfilled in-store. Reservations placed through the Site are not charged to your payment method — you pay in person, in-store, at the time of service or pickup, per our Terms of Service, Section 3. For a distributor special-order tire or a wheel/rim order already in progress, see Sections 2 and 4 above.

6. Manufacturer Defects & Warranty Claims

Concord Tires does not issue direct refunds for manufacturing defects. All warranty claims are handled in accordance with the original tire or wheel manufacturer’s warranty terms and/or our distributor’s applicable warranty policies.

If you suspect a defect, stop driving on the tire if it appears unsafe and contact us — we’ll inspect the tire and initiate the appropriate manufacturer or distributor claim process on your behalf. Claim outcomes (replacement, prorated credit, or denial) are determined by the manufacturer or distributor, not by Concord Tires.

7. Labor & Installation Charges

Labor charges — including mounting, balancing, alignment, and installation — are non-refundable under all circumstances. Any time a tire is mounted and/or installed, applicable labor charges will be assessed regardless of the outcome of a subsequent return, exchange, or warranty claim.

Any separate warranty we offer on our own installation or repair workmanship will be described to you in writing at the time of service and is governed by its own stated terms, per our Terms of Service, Section 6.

8. Refunds

At this time, Concord Tires does not process payments online — all purchases are paid for in person, in-store, at the time of service or pickup (see our Terms of Service, Section 4). Approved refunds are issued the same way: in cash or back to the card used, at the time your return is processed in-store.

  • Sales tax is refunded proportionally on the approved, returned portion of your order.
  • Any applicable restocking fee, return shipping cost, or non-refundable labor charge (see Sections 1, 2, 4, and 7) is deducted before the refund is issued.
  • If we introduce online payment processing in the future, online refunds will be issued to the original payment method through our payment processor, and this section will be updated accordingly.

9. How to Request a Return, Exchange, or Warranty Claim

Bring your receipt or order confirmation to our store at 2900 Willow Pass Road, Concord, CA 94519, or contact us first at (925) 849-4321 or concordtires@gmail.com so we can confirm eligibility and, for special orders or warranty claims, start the distributor or manufacturer process before your visit.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.

FAQ

Can I return a tire after it’s been mounted or installed?

No. Once a tire has been mounted and/or installed, it’s final sale and not eligible for return, refund, or exchange, regardless of mileage or time since installation — except under an applicable manufacturer defect or warranty claim.

Do you charge a restocking fee on returns?

Yes, new unmounted tires — including distributor special orders — returned within 30 days are subject to a 15% restocking fee. If a special-order tire had to ship from an out-of-area distribution center, return shipping cost also applies. Used tires and mounted tires are not eligible for return at all.

What if my special-order tire hasn’t arrived yet and I want to cancel?

You can cancel any time before it’s ready for pickup for a full refund, no charge. Once it’s arrived, it follows the same 30-day return policy as an in-house tire (Section 1), with return shipping added if it came from an out-of-area distribution center (Section 2).

What happens if my tire turns out to be defective?

Contact us and we’ll inspect it and file the appropriate claim with the manufacturer or distributor on your behalf. Concord Tires doesn’t issue direct refunds for manufacturing defects — claim outcomes are determined by the manufacturer’s or distributor’s warranty terms.

Can I cancel a wheel or rim order?

Yes, at no charge any time before it ships from the manufacturer or distributor. Once it has shipped, it’s paid in full and non-refundable for buyer’s remorse; a return before installation is possible with prior written approval, but you’ll be responsible for inbound and return shipping plus any manufacturer restocking fee.

Are labor charges refundable?

No. Mounting, balancing, alignment, and installation charges are non-refundable, even if the tire itself is later returned, exchanged, or replaced under warranty.
